These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between AISites.co.uk ("we," "us," or "our") and you, the user ("User," "you," or "your"). By accessing our website and using our AI-powered website building services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
AISites.co.uk provides an AI-driven platform that allows users to generate, host, and manage websites. Our core technology utilizes the Base44 AI engine to process natural language prompts and generate digital content.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
3. AI-Generated Content & Disclaimers
Accuracy:
Our service uses AI (Base44) to generate text, layouts, and code. AI can sometimes produce inaccurate, incomplete, or "hallucinated" information. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before it is published.
Liability:
We do not warrant that the AI-generated output will be error-free or suitable for any specific legal, commercial, or professional purpose. Use of the output is at your own risk.
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
We offer two types of paid plans:
- 30-Day Rolling Contract: Billed monthly in advance. This plan auto-renews every 30 days unless cancelled.
- 12-Month Plan: A fixed-term commitment billed annually. This plan auto-renews every 12 months at the then-current rate.
Payment: All payments are processed via Stripe. If a payment fails, access to your website and the editor may be suspended until your balance is cleared.
5. Cancellations & "Cooling-Off" Periods
In accordance with UK Consumer Law:
14-Day Cooling Off:
You have a right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund, provided you have not significantly used the service to generate and publish a live site.
Cancellation Process:
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard.
- For 30-day rolling plans, cancellation stops future billing; you retain access until the end of the current paid month.
- For 12-month plans, cancellation stops the auto-renewal at the end of the 12-month term. No pro-rata refunds are provided for early termination of annual plans.
6. Intellectual Property
Your Content:
You retain ownership of all original text and images you upload.
Our Tools:
We (and our licensors, including Base44) retain all rights to the AI software, templates, and proprietary code used to generate the sites. You are granted a non-exclusive license to use the generated website only while your subscription is active.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by English law, AISites.co.uk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, SEO rankings, or data, arising from your use of the service or any AI-generated output.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
